CHANTELLE CAMERON ramped up the rumour mill after saying she has “unfinished business” with Katie Taylor.
Anticipation is rife for a trilogy bout between the two rivals after their barn-burning 3Arena series in 2023.

Cameron successfully defended her undisputed super-lightweight world titles against Taylor in what was her first pro fight in Ireland that May.
However, the Bray woman returned the favour in their November rematch to become a two-weight undisputed world champion.
A third fight has not yet materialised, with Taylor instead retaining her belts in a rematch against Amanda Serrano in Texas last November.
Cameron bounced back from that loss in style, beating Elhem Mekhaled for the vacant interim WBC super-light belt and retaining it against Patricia Berghult.
The Northampton-native has stated her intent to fight her rival for a third time in 2025, and stepped that talk up a notch with a video on Instagram.
Alongside the caption “unfinished business”, the 33-year-old shared snippets from both of their previous bouts, whetting the appetite for a rubber match.
Among the many people who want to see Katie Taylor vs Chantelle Cameron 3 is Amanda Serrano – even if that means having to wait her turn for a trilogy with the Bray Bomber.
Taylor has fought both Serrano and Cameron twice each in four barn-burning bouts.
The Irishwoman extended her record over the Puerto Rican to 2-0 with a unanimous decision win at AT&T Stadium on November 15.
And Serrano tweeted: “I Love @chantellecam that’s my girl 100%.
“She definitely deserves her shot again. As much as I want my trilogy I’m rooting for her.
“I don’t care what anyone says I’m a Huge fan of hers & don’t want to see her not get it.”
While the 38-year-old’s next opponent is not known, the weight at which her next bout will take place is all-but certain to be super-lightweight.
That is after relinquishing her WBC lightweight world title – with Caroline Dubois elevated from interim champion.
The Bray woman had held the WBC strap since 2019, when she beat Delfine Persoon to become undisputed champ at 135lbs.
She has not fought at lightweight since 2022, with her last three fights – against Chantelle Cameron (2) and Amanda Serrano – being at super lightweight where she is also undisputed.
Caroline Dubois was crowned interim champion with a unanimous points victory over Maira Moneo in August.
And on December 11, it was revealed that she had been promoted to champion proper after Taylor had relinquished the WBC belt.
The 23-year-old would have been Taylor’s next mandatory challenger, with the vacation the clearest indication that the Irishwoman could stay at 140lbs.
