The Broward County Sheriff’s office is investigating after a man was shot and killed in a Pompano Beach neighborhood.
It happened shortly before 1 a.m. at a home on Northwest Sixth Street and Seventh terrace.
According to investigators, the man was shot at the scene and later died at a local hospital.
Deputies are still searching for the person responsible, they said.
Around 9 a.m. Sunday, Local 10 crews spotted BSO’s SWAT team on the scene along with an ambulance on standby.
Deputies have yet to provide any information on the identity of the victim, or a description of the suspect.
There has been no word yet on the circumstances that led up to the shooting.
