Costa Coffee will open a new store in the Fairhill Shopping Centre next month.
The new café will occupy a corner unit in the main mall, alongside retailers such as M&S, River Island, and The Perfume Shop.
Costa, which already operate two coffee shops in Ballymena, said the new Fairhill site will be one of the first in Northern Ireland to feature its new-design modern shop-fit.
The announcement comes just days after the centre’s owners revealed plans for a £10 million internal revamp of the shopping complex ahead of the opening of Primark’s new flagship store in the autumn.
“As we deliver on our ambition to place Fairhill back on the map as a go-to regional retail destination, we are pleased to welcome Costa coffee to the scheme,” said director Ryan Walker.
“Fairhill will experience a significant increase in footfall later this year with the opening of the new Primark store and we are delighted to add Costa to the range of established national and independent food and drink offerings in the scheme.”
