Up and down temperatures this week
Temperatures will make their way into the 80’s again on Sunday. A rather weak cold front on Sunday will briefly drops highs for the start of next week.

Where’s the rain?
Spring is typically our rainiest season, and March is one of our wettest months, but this March has been unusually dry. Looking ahead, that trend doesn’t seem to change for much of North Texas. Rain chances over the next two weeks look minimal. Our best shot at rain comes Sunday when the Storm Prediction Center has highlighted parts of far East Texas for potential severe weather. DFW’s rain coverage will be very low and it’ll increase to the southeast.

Breezy wind and an Elevated Fire Danger returns Saturday
Given how long its been since we’ve had a soaking rain, our western counties are very dry. Dry, warm, and breezy conditions will keep at least half of North Texas under an elevated fire threat. Please avoid outdoor burning if possible.

14 Day
We have a couple of days this week where temperatures will be a lot closer to normal. We will warm up this weekend with a low chance of rain. Rain chances are starting to look a little better by the end of the month!
