A teenage girl is accused of the overnight shooting of a man north of Brisbane.
The 42-year-old victim was found in a car park on Lakefield Drive in North Lakes, Moreton Bay with chest wounds about 9.40pm on Monday.
He was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a “serious but stable” condition.
On Tuesday morning police announced they had arrested a 17-year-old girl from Windsor and charged her with attempted murder.
A string of other charges including possessing dangerous drugs and keeping a weapon were also laid.
She was arrested in the Ipswich suburb of Riverview about 2am.
Police believe the shooting followed a confrontation with the victim. Three other males are believed to have been involved, but are yet to be found.
An Audi Q5 allegedly driven by the three men and girl has been seized by police.
The 17-year-old has been refused bail and will appear at Ipswich Children’s Court today.
