Jewellery designer Chupi Sweetman: ‘I wanted another corgi but my husband said no; we should get a rescue’

It was my husband Brian who opened my eyes to getting a rescue dog. When we first thought about a dog, I was completely set on having a corgi because I’d had corgis as a child. We’d had one called Georgie when I was very young and then, when I was 10, I got my own dog — a corgi called Yardi who lived for more than 13 years. My brother’s corgi, Muttley, lived to be an amazing 18-and-a-half!
