Despite clinching the Green Jacket in this weekend’s Masters sensation in Augusta, there will be little rest for the Co Down native in the month’s ahead.
McIlroy is set to play a total of approximately 22 events this year, a decrease on last year’s 27.
The Holywood star will next take to the golf course on April 24 when he takes part in the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in Louisiana, US.
He is set to defend his title alongside Shane Lowry in the team event, which takes place between the 24th and the 27th.
In May, he is expected to take part as defending champion in the Truist Championship at the Philadelphia Cricket Club, USA.
Mcilroy’s next major tournament will be the PGA Championship, which is set to take place between May 15–18 at the Quail Hollow Club, Charlotte, North Carolina.
He has previously won four times at the course and will be aiming for his sixth major title.
If he were to win, it would put him on par with six time major winner, Nick Faldo, who currently holds the most major wins for a European.
McIlroy will have another opportunity to scoop the magic sixth major title when he takes part in the US Open at Oakmont Country Club, Oakmont, Pennsylvania between June 12–15.
However, the Northern Ireland star will be making his big return to home soil when he takes part in The Open Championship between July 17–20 at the Royal Portrush Golf Club.
