Upcoming Housing and Land Use-Related Events:

• Monday, Feb. 3 at 1 p.m.: The City Planning Commission will hold a review session regarding the following land use applications: Lenox Hill Hospital, Carmen Villegas Apartments – Senior Housing, 347 Flushing Avenue, 236 Gold Street Rezoning, 163-25 Archer Avenue Curb Cut Certification. More here.
• Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 9:30 a.m.: The NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission will hold a public meeting. More here.
• Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 2 p.m.: The Urban Institute will host a public discussion, “Building a Climate-Resilient Manufactured Housing Stock.” More here.
• Tuesday, Feb. 4, 5 to 8 p.m.: The city’s Department of Finance will host an outreach event for property owners about understanding their Notice of Property Value, which informs them of their property’s tentative market and assessed values for the coming tax year. More here.
• Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 6:30 p.m.: Trinity Church will host a housing clinic for tenants. More here.
• Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 10 a.m.: The City Planning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding the following land use applications: East Harlem 125th Street BID, 1093-1095 Jerome Avenue UDAAP, 720 West End Avenue Parking Authorization, 1460-1480 Sheridan Boulevard (Waterfront), New York Community Hospital of Brooklyn, 97-77 Queens Blvd NYPD Office Space Application, 95-25 Queens Blvd NYPD Office Application. • Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 11 a.m.: The City Council’s Subcommittee on Landmarks, Public Sitings, and Dispositions will hold a public hearing on land use applications for The Beacon at 413 East 120th Street and 581 Grant Avenue. More here.
• Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 6 p.m.: NHS Brooklyn will hold a first-time homebuyers orientation for NYCHA tenants and participants in the Section 8 Homeownership Program. More here.

NYC Affordable Housing Lotteries Ending Soon: The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) are closing lotteries on the following subsidized buildings over the next week.

• The Park Overture aka 4568 Broadway Apartments, Manhattan, for households earning between $92,400 – $218,010
• Ray Harlem, Manhattan, for households earning between $31,886 – $218,010
• 499 President Street Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning between $28,732 – $167,700
• Tryon North, Manhattan, for households earning between $28,732 – $218,010
• AURA, Queens, for households earning between $117,360 – $218,010
• 827 Sterling Place Apartments, Brooklyn, for households earning between $108,000 – $218,010
