Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE: LLY) Thursday reported a sharp increase in its fourth-quarter revenues. The pharmaceutical company’s adjusted earnings more than doubled during the quarter. Worldwide revenue increased 45% year-over-year to $13.53 billion in the December quarter, reflecting strong sales growth across the main operating segments. Energy exploration company ConocoPhillips (NYSE: COP) on Thursday reported a decline in revenues and adjusted profit for the fourth quarter of 2024. Net income, adjusted for special items, decreased 18% year-over-year to $1.98 per share in the three months. The reported profit was $2.31 billion or $1.90 per share in Q4, compared to $3.0 billion or $2.52 per share in the fourth quarter of 2023. Net income attributable to shareholders was $72 million or $0.04 per share in the December quarter, compared to $1.76 billion or $0.87 per share in the comparable period of 2023.
