(KRON) – The Oakland Police Department is looking for suspects involved in multiple armed robberies in the Foothill Square neighborhood on Saturday.  Around 9:15 a.m., three victims in the 10700 block of MacArthur Boulevard were approached by multiple armed individuals who demanded the victims’ belongings. The victim complied with the armed individuals’ demands. Police said the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle. (BCN) — Two people were injured in a house fire in an unincorporated area of San Mateo County Sunday morning, Cal Fire said on social media. Firefighters pulled two people and one animal from the house fire in Emerald Lake Hills, the agency said. Two people were taken to the hospital for evaluation, according to Cal Fire. (KRON) — A pedestrian was killed after a Saturday evening crash in Sunnyvale, the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety announced in a news release. The crash happened around 6 p.m. near the intersection of Columbia Avenue and N. Fair Oaks Avenue. Hoiman Ng, 74, suffers from a “mild memory condition,” according to HPD. Ng stands 5-foot-3 and weighs 150 pounds, according to California Highway Patrol. He has gray hair, and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, and a black baseball cap. He was carrying a black backpack. (BCN) — U.S. Highway 1 near Moss Landing fully reopened at 5 p.m. Sunday following a closure due to a fire at one of the world’s largest battery storage facilities this week, according to Monterey County.   Lithium-ion batteries at the Vistra Energy facility that caught fire Thursday continued to burn out by Saturday but could still reignite, officials said. SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Several people were injured after a crash involving multiple vehicles Sunday evening in the SoMa neighborhood, the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD) said. San Francisco police responded around 6:08 p.m. for a collision at 6th Street between Bryant and Harrison. There were a total of eight victims, according to SFFD.
