Jessica Gunning keeps coming up gold.
The British actress has completed what is likely to be a historic TV awards sweep by adding a BAFTA to her collection of prizes for her portrayal of Martha Scott in hit Netflix series Baby Reindeer.
Gunning won Best Supporting Actress at the BAFTA TV Awards on Sunday, beating competition from five other nominees, including Baby Reindeer co-star Nava Mau.
Accepting the award, Gunning said she was “so proud” to be part of the series. She also channeled her character Fiona Harvey to wish Richard Gadd happy birthday, exclaiming: “Happy birthday, nipple.”
It marks a quadruplet of major wins, having previously clinched an Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG award. This kind of sweep for one role in the same awards season is incredibly rare, if not unprecedented.

Matthew Macfadyen won an Emmy, BAFTA, and Golden Globe for Season 4 of Succession, but missed out on an individual prize at SAG.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge clinched all four for Fleabag, but across two seasons and in different awards seasons. Helen Mirren and Kate Winslet won Emmy, Golden Globe, and SAG awards for Elizabeth I and Mildred Pierce respectively, but both missed out on a BAFTA.
Gunning has also picked up other prizes over the past year, including at the Critics’ Choice Awards, Royal Television Society Awards, and the Broadcasting Press Guild Awards. The breakout year has led to her being picked up by UTA and being cast in Steven Soderbergh‘s comedy The Christophers.
Baby Reindeer was a huge success story for Netflix, with Gunning playing the unsettling former lawyer Martha, who stalks Donny Dunn, portrayed by creator Gadd. The series was billed as a “true story,” which landed Netflix with a lawsuit after Harvey, the real-life Martha, sued the streamer for defamation after she was identified as the character.
