Everyone is invited to the event. It’s an opportunity to attend presentations from experts in the bee and agriculture fields. They’ll cover current bee research, trends and topics in beekeeping, and the vital role bees play in agriculture.

- Dr. Sarah Wood, research chair in Pollinator Health at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, will present some of her latest work on enhancing honey bee health and colony productivity.
- Researchers from Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, the National Bee Diagnostic Centre, and the University of Lethbridge,
- Anton Grechukha, Apiculture Inspector, Alberta Agriculture and Irrigation,
- Jules Ham, Alberta Beekeepers Commission,
- Dr. Renata Labuschagne, Alberta Beekeepers Commission Technical Transfer Program.
The event, held at AAFC Beaverlodge Research Farm on 100038 Township Road 720, includes a complimentary BBQ lunch and prize draws. Talks and demonstrations by bee experts. It starts at 10 a.m. and finishes around 4:30 p.m.
