Fire crews found a person dead inside a car that had caught fire and gone into Angle Lake at a boat ramp in SeaTac on Thursday afternoon, according to the Puget Sound Regional Fire Authority.
The department responded to a report of a car on fire and in the water, sinking about 12 feet into the lake.
The investigation was active Thursday around 5 p.m., according to the King County Sheriff’s Office. What might have led to the incident was not immediately clear. A Puget Sound Fire spokesperson did not have additional details.
