Brentford 0 Liverpool 2: Darwin Nunez steps off bench to score twice in injury time as Reds get huge win in title race

LIVERPOOL huffed and puffed and after missing with 35 shots they finally found the target with two in stoppage time.

Substitute Darwin Nunez was the hero as he fired home from six yards from Trent Alexander-Arnold’s cutback.

It looked like it would be another frustrating draw on the road for the Reds – their second in two weeks – as Brentford held strong for 90 minutes.

But Alexander-Arnold produced a clever run to unlock the Bees, with Nunez taking advantage.

The misfiring striker then found the target again moments later, firing past the goalkeeper after again finding space in the box.
