The Calgary Police Service is asking the public’s help in identifying six male youth suspects believed to be responsible for assaulting a 14-year-old boy at a CTrain station in March.

Police say the teenage boy was walking inside the Anderson LRT station at approximately 6 p.m. on Mar. 3 when he was approached by the group of six. The group asked about the teen’s hoodie, and when he continued walking away from them, police believe one member of the group struck the teen, leading to a physical altercation.

A bystander called police and officers arrived to the station around 6:08 p.m. to assist, but the suspects had fled the area.

The victim was transported to hospital with minor injuries.

Police are asking for public assistance in locating the suspects and have provided photos and descriptions of the group. As police believe the suspects to be minors, their faces can’t be shown.

The first suspect is described as having a light skin tone, with brown hair, black rimmed glasses, wearing a red hoodie, faded and ripped blue jeans and black running shoes.

The second suspect is described as tall, with a dark skin tone, wearing a red backpack, with black pants, white shoes, a black jacket, a black face covering and a black head covering.

The third suspect is described as having a dark skin tone, wearing a black jacket, faded black denim jeans, white shoes, a red Bape backpack with black straps and a black head covering.

The fourth suspect is described as having a medium skin tone, wearing a black head covering, a black jacket with a hood, black pants and black shoes.

The fifth suspect is described as tall, wearing a black hoodie and a shiny black down-filled jacket without a hood, faded black denim jeans, grey or white sneakers and a black backpack.

The sixth suspect is described as wearing a grey hoodie with a black backpack, black pants and black shoes.

Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of the suspects is asked to call police at 403-266-1234. Tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers online, by calling 1-800-222-8477 or by using the P3 Tips mobile app.
