A girl has suffered non-life threatening and non-life altering injuries after being struck by a CTrain at Anderson station Friday afternoon.

CTrain service at Anderson Station in the city’s southwest is suspended while police investigate.

The incident was reported at just before 3:30 p.m. and Calgary transit continued to report the CTrain was not running at Anderson station at 5:30 p.m. By 5:45 p.m. trains were passing through Anderson station on a single track, but not stopping at the station.

Shuttle busses are taking passengers between Canyon Meadows and Southland stations, creating long line-ups.
