Toronto Police have released a photo of a male suspect following a random stabbing late Sunday night following an altercation on board a TTC bus.

An attacker pursued a victim off a TTC bus and stabbed that person repeatedly before fleeing, according to Toronto Police.

The victim tried to escape from the assailant, hopping off a bus on Sunday around 11 p.m. in the Weston Rd.-Eglinton Ave. area. Police described the attack as unprovoked, adding the armed thug and the victim had interacted on the bus.

Authorities say the victim and suspect, pictured above, were not known to each other and the victim sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the attacker.
