Authorities are investigating after a man was shot in Miami-Dade County.
It happened at approximately 4:48 p.m. in the area of the 2100 block of Northwest 79th Street.
According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene after receiving a ShotSpotter alert.
Upon arrival, MDSO said they found a man who had been shot.
He was rushed to Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital in stable condition, according to officials.
Investigators have not released any information on a suspect, or what led up to the shooting.
