Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a shooting on Thursday in the Glenvar Heights neighborhood.
Richard Torrente, a business owner who was among the witnesses at the active scene, said at least four people were shot.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel and deputies responded to Priced Right Motors, Inc., a car dealer at 7321 SW 45 St.
According to deputies, as the scene was unfolding shortly before 1:30 p.m., there were “multiple” victims and the shooter was not in custody.
A SWAT team and Florida Highway Patrol troopers also responded.
The area with an entrance at Southwest 74 Avenue and 45 Street is also home to Hitting .365, a batting cage center, the Lawnmowers R US store, and the All Purpose Training gym.
