Former Giants first-round picks have won a Super Bowl 5 years in a rowon February 12, 2025 at 10:34 am

The New York Giants watched helplessly as running back Saquon Barkley, their first-round pick in the 2018 NFL draft, helped lead their NFC East rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, to a Super Bowl LIX victory this past Sunday.

But that wasn’t a first for the Giants.

While the Barkley victory stung for obvious reasons, it’s something that has become a trend for the Giants in recent years. In fact, it’s the fifth straight time one of their former first-round picks has earned a Super Bowl ring for another team.

Some of the players may be more glorified than others, but here’s how the past five Super Bowls have played out for some of the Giants’ top picks.
