Gabrielle White elected President of the Irish Exporters Association for 2025

The Irish Exporters Association (IEA) has announced the appointment of Gabrielle White as President of the Association. Gabrielle is Executive Director, Head of Supply Chain & Logistics with PTC Therapeutics. She has been a National Council member of the IEA since 2020 and takes over from Colin Dunne, Joint Managing Director of International Warehousing & Transport (IWT).

Welcoming Gabrielle to the role, Simon McKeever, Chief Executive of the IEA, said: “We are delighted that Gabrielle will serve as our 2025 President. The Irish export sector is a significant driver of economic growth, and our members have demonstrated remarkable resilience, innovation, and adaptability in helping the sector grow in recent years.”

“As we anticipate changes to the traditional dynamics of international trade in the near term, Gabreille’s appointment, combined with her extensive global supply chain experience and expertise, will be a tremendous asset to the IEA and our members.”

 

Commenting on her appointment, Gabrielle White said: “I am honoured and proud to be appointed President of the Irish Exporters Association for 2025. This is a pivotal time for the Irish export sector as we strive to drive further growth while navigating the evolving global geopolitical landscape. I look forward to supporting the IEA as President and strategically continuing the critical work that the IEA does for the Irish Export sector and its members.

“It is crucial that the IEA remains prominent in voicing the needs of its members to government and key stakeholder groups, ensuring that the Irish exporting industry can continue to grow sustainably in worldwide markets.”
