New York Giants great Michael Strahan, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, was voted to the College Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2025 this week.

Strahan, a legendary Giant who played 15 seasons with Big Blue and won a Super Bowl in 2007, is one of “18 players and four coaches were selected from the national ballot of 77 players and nine coaches from the Football Bowl Subdivision and 101 players and 34 coaches from the divisional ranks.”

From the Giants:

Strahan put together a legendary career at Texas Southern prior to landing with the Giants. He graduated with both the program’s single-season sack record (19 in 1992) along with the all-time sack record (41.5). He also earned numerous accolades, including first-team All-American, Division I-AA Defensive Player of the Year, 1992 Black College Defensive Player of the Year, two-time SWAC Defensive Player of the Year and All-SWAC member.

Strahan was then drafted 40th overall by the Giants in the 1993 NFL Draft. He would go on to play 15 years in the NFL, all of which was spent with the Giants. He finished just a half-sack shy of Lawrence Taylor for the unofficial franchise sack record, while his 141.5 sacks are officially the sixth-most in NFL history.

Other notables in the Class of 2025 include Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, Alex Mack, Terry Metcalf, Haloti Ngota, Dennis Thurman, and Michael Vick.
