For the second time since taking over as the head coach of the New England Patriots, Mike Vrabel has raided the New York Giants.
A week after luring executive advisor Ryan Cowden away from East Rutherford, Vrabel has now coaxed defensive assistant Zak Kuhr to Foxboro.

Kuhr joined the Giants’ defensive staff a season ago when Shane Bowen became their defensive coordinator. The pair had worked together with the Tennessee Titans in 2023 and for three years under Vrabel before that.
During his time with the Titans, Kuhr served as both a quality control coach and an inside linebackers assistant.
Before reaching the NFL level, Kuhr spent eight years coaching at the college level, including stints with the University of Texas (2019) and Texas State (2017-18).
The Giants now have another assistant coaching position they must fill.
