RTE First Dates Ireland viewers have all been left cringing after after two contestants were “awkwardly” told off by restaurant staff.
Returning to the restaurant, astrophysics graduate Cillian and his super sassy best friend Hansun arrived red hot from Drogheda for a double date.

Cillian scandalised physiotherapist Carl from Wexford with an innuendo-heavy flirting masterclass.
While Hansun shared fashion icks and tales of charity shop blowouts with art student Mark, who arrived wearing a tank top he had crocheted himself.
As both couples got to chatting, Hansun and Cillian decided to take a trip to the bathroom to discuss their respective dates.
However, in a rare display of rogue matchmaking, the two cheeky returning daters decided to swap partners halfway through the dinner.
But their sneaky plan did not last long after Cillian and Hansun were asked to return to their original dates by restaurant staff.
The waitress reminded Cillian that it was “not a speed dating show”, to which he replied: “Oh, I guess?”
Both Carl and Mark were left totally red-faced in the process.
And RTE viewers were quick to react to the embarrassing moment as they took to X.
Bea wrote: “Were they told off for switching dates? AWKWARD.”
Elaine added: “Please stop this double date catastrophe.”
Annie said: “Ahahah not the waitress telling them off.”
While Heather remarked: “This is so childish.”
Elsewhere on the show, Billy, 77 from Crumlin, was back on the dating scene after 45 years.
The retired electrician met gorgeous and timeless former biscuit factory worker Maureen from Usher’s Quay.
GOLDEN OLDIES
Maureen returned to the restaurant after seven years with the most memorable conversation starter in First Dates history as she asked: “Now, would all your friends be dead?’
The pair discussed their “flower power” days back in the 1970s and their love for the “Stoneybatter dances”.
Billy bashfully asked Maureen if she would “teach him to waltz sometime”.
Maureen and Billy opened up about their past marriages and how they had both been single for over 40 years – now, combined, they had nine grandchildren to spend their time with.
When asked what his first impression of Maureen was, Billy gushed: “I thought she looked stunning, she was so nice, I was delighted; when I met her, all my nerves went away.”
While Maureen swooned: “He was a lovely old-style gentleman.”
The giddy duo immediately admitted they were keen to see each other again for a second date.
