I-95 reopens after FHP shuts down northbound lanes for investigation into ‘prior incident’​on February 11, 2025 at 8:48 pm

State troopers shut down all northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in North Miami Tuesday afternoon.

A Florida Highway Patrol spokesperson said troopers shut down the highway at Northwest 135th Street as part of an investigation, saying there was “no active incident.”

“Troopers are taking measurements for a prior incident,” FHP Lt. Alex Camacho, an agency spokesperson, said.

The highway reopened just before 4 p.m.

Officials didn’t disclose additional information about the “prior incident” in question.
