“IDF Unearths Iran-Hamas Financial Nexus: $150 Million Allegedly Funneled Through Gaza Tunnel”

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have revealed evidence of direct financial support from Iran to Hamas, the militant group in the Gaza Strip. During a press conference, IDF Spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari presented documents allegedly found in a Gaza tunnel indicating coordination between Hamas and Iran. The documents purportedly show transfers totaling over $150 million from Iran to Hamas between 2014 and 2020.

According to Hagari, the IDF will share intelligence gathered with its international partners for verification, highlighting the global threat posed by Iran’s support for terrorism. Additionally, the IDF claims to have discovered a safe containing over 20 million shekels in cash in the same underground space, suggesting the allocation of funds for personal use by senior Hamas officials.

Hagari emphasized the IDF’s commitment to addressing the plight of hostages held by Hamas, stating that efforts are ongoing to secure their release and provide support to their families. While some families have been informed of the deaths of their loved ones held captive, the IDF remains dedicated to bringing all hostages home.

The revelations underscore the complex dynamics and ongoing challenges in the region, with implications for regional security and international diplomacy.
