So, Sept. 15 and Parliament is actually back at work. That’s the first time in a year, isn’t it? Sept. 17 last year was the day that the Conservative filibuster began, if memory serves. If you remember, that was because the Trudeau Liberals refused to hand over documents demanded by Parliament, and demanded by the Speaker as well. Same old crew, back again, lecturing us on all their accomplishments, and Canadian fools vote them in. For shame!

Free Alberta
Parti Quebecois Leader Paul Plamondon told leaders of Alberta’s pro-independence movement that he’ll recognize a free and independent Alberta if he becomes Quebec’s premier. Under the microscope
People complain few qualified persons are running for political office. However, social media scrutinizes every move one makes. PM Carney is qualified but facing a tariff war and decades of Canada’s dependence on U.S. trade. He’s supporting tariff-affected industries and projects to increase international trade. He is facing 10 years of past deficit spending and needs monies for the above. Premier Smith praised Carney for supporting the five projects while talking to him about possible Alberta projects, eh?!

Make-believe problems
Re “Judge Carney by what he promised” (Editorial, Sept. 16): Another Liberal ‘solution’ to a problem they created. The arsonists/firefighters have chosen to throw away $13B on house-building. We don’t have a housing problem, but we do have an immigration problem they created. The feds need to do two things: 1) Put a moratorium on new immigrants and get rid of those not legally entitled to be here, and (2) Stop throwing money away on make-believe problems.
