EXCLUSIVE: After more than 30 years at CAA, John Campisi is joining Untitled as a partner. The parting is amicable.
Campisi began his career at CAA in the mailroom, eventually rising through the ranks to become a fixture. He is highly respected for his steady hand in guiding a wide range of high-profile artists across film and television.
At CAA, Campisi represents an acclaimed roster of talent including Noah Hawley, David O. Russell, Travis Knight, Terence Winter, Peter Craig, Gary Spinelli, Brian Helgeland, Bart Layton, Brad Ingelsby, Michelle MacLaren, Robert Kirkman, Jodie Foster, Matthew Weiner, John Lee Hancock, Jackie Chan, Gerard Johnstone, Greg Kwedar & Clint Bentley, David Magee, and Nat Faxon & Jim Rash. They are still sorting the particulars, but many of those clients will join Campisi at Untitled.
“After more than three decades at CAA — starting in the mailroom and growing under two generations of leadership — I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to work alongside remarkable colleagues and represent extraordinary creative talent,” Campisi said. “My entire career has been about partnering with and representing the interests of artists who shape culture and move our world forward in ways that are profound and irreplaceable. I’m energized to begin this next chapter at Untitled, a company built on bold vision, collaboration, and innovation. I look forward to contributing my experience to its continued growth and to working with so many long-time friends, colleagues, and the artists who shape culture and move our world forward.”

“We couldn’t be more excited to welcome John to Untitled,” said the Untitled partners. “John has been a trusted collaborator and friend to many of us over the years. Coming together under one roof feels like a natural next step in a long-standing relationship built on shared values and mutual respect. His expertise and steadfast commitment to his clients are exceptional and we know he’s going to make an incredible addition to the Untitled team.”
Said CAA co-chairman Richard Lovett: “John Campisi is a great human being and a real talent. In his new life as a manager, he will continue to serve his clients exceptionally well. We will miss him. Hopefully, my Brewers handle his Mets better this year.”
