The hunt is on for a killer after a man was gunned down in a rural Brampton home late Wednesday. Peel Regional Police say they received a 911 just after 11 p.m. for a shooting at a residence on Heritage Rd. Emergency services arrived and found a man in his 20s who had been shot.

Peel Regional Police say they received a 911 just after 11 p.m. for a shooting at a residence on Heritage Rd.
Emergency services arrived and found a man in his 20s who had been shot. He was transferred to hospital, where he died.
Police said the incident took place in the residence and there were other people in the home who were transferred to hospital with minor injuries.
There is no suspect information to release at this time, police said.
Heritage Rd. was closed in both directions between Embleton and Lionhead Golf Club Rds. Thursday morning as homicide investigators work the scene and canvass for witnesses and video.
