Police are investigating after a man was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after allegedly being hit by an e-scooter in Perth’s CBD on Saturday night.
Major crime squad detectives allege that about 8.40pm, the 51-year-old man collided with an e-scooter ridden by two people on Murray Street.
The male pedestrian was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment and remains in a critical condition.
“The 24-year-old rider of the e-scooter was treated by paramedics for minor injuries, but did not require hospitalisation,” police said in a statement.
“The 26-year-old female pillion passenger was conveyed to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.”
