Maura Higgins certainly knows how to command attention on the red carpet and she stole the show once again as she arrived for the BAFTAs on Sunday night.
The former Love Islander, 34, stepped out in a showstopping Cinderella-style ballgown for the annual awards ceremony that took place in London’s Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall.
The I’m A Celebrity star was the picture of old-school glamour in the silver halterneck gown that featured a drop waist and a voluminous skirt.

The back of her dress was just as impressive with a low scooped backless look and her huge skirt was followed by a train made from metres of fabric.
Maura beamed with confidence on the red carpet as she dazzled the cameras with her diamond drop earrings and wore her hair in a flicked-out bob and styled in a half-up-half-down look.

It was the star’s first time returning to the red carpet since the BRIT Awards kiss scandal with her I’m A Celeb campmate Danny Jones in March.

Thankfully the pair aren’t set to have an awkward run-in on the night as the McFly star is reportedly skipping the the BAFTA TV awards this year.

The BAFTA TV awards recognises the biggest and brightest stars on British television with lots of Irish stars up for awards and they also appeared to be taking over on the red carpet.
Una Healy and Laura Whitmore represented the Irish cohort at the BAFTA TV awards with the pair both opting for monochrome outfits.

Una wore a black and silver strapless mini dress featuring a studded bodice and a bubble hem, which she paired with matching black and silver sandal high heels.
Laura, who has just celebrated her 40th birthday, looked sharp as she dressed in a black-and-white tailored suit that would have been suitable for this year’s Met Gala dress code ‘Tailored For You’!

Meanwhile, Irish actress Lola Petticrew, who is nominated for Leading Actress for their portrayal of Dolours Price in Disney+’s Say Nothing, wore a gothic-inspired black dress on the red carpet.

And Irish presenter Angela Scanlon went for the trending ‘pantless’ look on the red carpet as she posed alongside Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison, who is the co-host to their new podcast Get A Grip.
