Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested Miriam Erice on Tuesday night at an apartment at 9520 SW 8 St., in the Westchester neighborhood.
Erice was driving a white 2018 Buick Encore sports utility vehicle when she struck a man shortly before 10:40 a.m., on Thursday, at the parking lot of the Clinical Care Medical Center, at 7500 SW 8 St.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel took the man, whose condition was critical, to Kendall Regional Hospital.
Correctional officers booked Erice at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. She was facing a charge of leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury.
