​Renton police are seeking tips about a spree of more than 60 vehicle break-ins.   

The Renton Police Department is seeking information on a spree of more than 60 vehicle break-ins across seven locations.

Police began receiving reports of break-ins around 11:45 p.m. Friday, spokesperson Meeghan Black said. She said there are at least three suspects. At least four guns were reported stolen from the vehicles, according to a news release.

The suspects are considered to be armed and dangerous, the release said.

Locations hit include:

  • 700 block of Logan Avenue
  • 1700 block of East Valley Road
  • 1800 East Valley Road
  • 1200 block of Lake Washington Boulevard North
  • 1300 block of Lake Washington Boulevard North
  • 1800 block of Maple Valley Highway
  • 400 block of South 50th Street 

Police advise against leaving valuables, especially firearms, in vehicles.

“We know this is a heavy burden to those victimized in these senseless acts,” Deputy Chief Ryan Rutledge said in the news release. “We want our community members to know that we will fully investigate in our attempts to identify the suspects involved.”

Black said the Special Enforcement Team is investigating the thefts.
