The crash occurred at about 10 p.m. on County Road 11 about 60 kilometres southeast of Chesterville.

Ontario Provincial Police said on social media Saturday that a passerby performed CPR on the victim until paramedics arrived.

The man was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Police identified the victim as a 40-year-old man who had been staying in the North Grenville area.
