San Jose: Stabbing death at Santana Row investigated as city’s 3rd homicide this year​on February 15, 2025 at 7:10 am

Attack occurred around 7:15 p.m. Friday at the shopping-dining complex   

SAN JOSE – A man who was stabbed Friday night at Santana Row died from his injuries, according to authorities.

The stabbing was reported around 7:15 p.m. in the 300 block of Santana Row, the San Jose Police Department said in a social media post.

The victim was taken to a hospital, and Olsen Drive was closed from Winchester Boulevard to Hatton Street.

Police said the case is being investigated as San Jose’s third homicide of 2025.

The city notched its second homicide two days before when a 19-year-old man died after being shot in a residential neighborhood near Canoas Creek.

No further details were released as of Saturday afternoon.
