SAN LEANDRO — A woman was found safe within two hours of police sending out a missing persons alert, authorities said.
The 76-year-old woman “unexpectedly” left her San Leandro home Monday morning. She was found safe Monday evening.
Police said the woman suffers from a cognitive dysfunction, had no phone, and was considered at-risk due to her condition and age.
At around 7 p.m. Monday, police thanked the public and canceled the alert.
