The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX 40-22, and it wasn’t even that close. While the Chiefs tacked on a couple of scores in the fourth quarter, the game was all but over at 40-6 with eight minutes to go. The victory marks the Eagles second Super Bowl win this decade.

The matchup marked the seventh time the Chiefs have been to the big game and the team’s third appearance in a row. What’s more, if they won, it would technically have made the Patrick Mahomes-led team the first in league history to win three Super Bowls in a row. That was not to be.
