DALLAS — One person was killed and another was injured in an overnight shooting in downtown Dallas, police confirmed to WFAA.
The Dallas Police Department (DPD) said officers responded to a shooting call at approximately 2:35 a.m. Saturday in the 1800 block of Main Street. When officers got to the scene, they found two people had been shot, DPD said. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported both victims to the hospital, where one of them, 28-year-old Ashlee Long, died.
Police did not say what condition the other victim was in.
No further information was immediately available.
DPD said the investigation into the shooting was ongoing.
