ASIRT investigation clears officer in January shooting

On January 6, on a rural County of Grande Prairie road, just before 3 p.m., a lone RCMP officer found himself fighting for his life when he went to check out a driver who hit a ditch on a rural road. The unnamed driver attacked and stabbed him in the left shoulder.
