The Civilian Office of Police Accountability is investigating a shooting involving a police officer on the Southwest Side Monday morning.
CHICAGO (WLS) — The Civilian Office of Police Accountability is investigating a shooting involving a police officer on the Southwest Side Monday morning.
COPA said the shooting took place in the 3700-block of West 67th Place. Further details were not immediately available.

At the scene, police taped off the area and a backpack could be seen on the ground. There are also multiple vehicles that appear to have been damaged.
Police have not said how all off this is possibly connected to their investigation.
