Live from New York, it’s Sunday night.
The 50th anniversary of Saturday Night Live kicks off this evening at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, the hottest ticket in town in years with a star-studded lineup including Alec Baldwin, Adam Sandler, Amy Poehler, Chevy Chase, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Eddie Murphy, Garrett Morris, Jane Curtin, Jason Sudeikis, , Kim Kardashian, Kristen Wiig, Pete Davidson, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Robert De Niro, Tina Fey, Tom Hanks and Will Ferrell set to appear among others.
The show follows SNL50: The Homecoming Concert, which saw performances from the likes of Cher, the Backstreet Boys, Miley Cyrus, David Byrne and the surviving members of Nirvana.
Expect to see a few classic sketches brought back to life as well as some of the most A-list cameos since the 40th anniversary.
