Q As the owner of a shop in the south-east, I’m increasingly struggling with the decline of the high street. Out-of-town retail parks and online shopping are sucking away my business. Our town centre has become quieter and quieter, with more shops closing down, leading to even more reduced footfall. What advice would you give – should we get out while the going still isn’t too bad, or do you see this situation ever turning around?
