Many people were counting down the days and the hours for Sky’s ‘Boyzone, No Matter What’ documentary to drop onto our screens and fans couldn’t wait to see what the boys had to say about their career in the spotlight.
Some well-known faces turned out to see the first instalment of the three-part piece in London followed by a premiere in Dublin at the Stella Cinema Rathmines.
However, Boyzone fanatics had to wait a little longer to tune in but we are glad to reveal that it is ready to go at just a push of a button and it looks like many have been impressed.

For those who have not had a chance to sit down and watch, the show looks at the rise of five young teenagers from Dublin and how under the management of Louis Walsh, they dominated the charts and the world.
Featuring Keith, Ronan, Mikey and Shane as well as their former manager Louis Walsh, each person gives their take on what happened over the years and how great lengths were taken to make them stars- some good, some bad.

And while the lads had their say so did the viewers. Taking to social media, many were not afraid to give their point of view.
One stated ‘Never a fan of Boyzone just not my genre. I’ve watched the first episode…WILD! That’s some sh**e they went through.’
Another said ‘Just watched all episodes. Unbelievable, raw, honest, open, reality check on all their lives. The price of fame can be a challenging one to pay. Tears and laughter.’
As you can imagine the audience was not impressed with Louis and his antics over the years. One social media person did not hold back ‘What a loathsome little troll Louis Walsh is! My heart is breaking for how Boyzone was treated, especially how Mikey Graham was just casually tossed aside!’

Attending a Q&A session after the Dublin premiere, Keith said for him, while he said he loved Louis, he told the audience that he would ‘just say flippant things in a moment to sell us as a band and it didn’t matter who that was. Whether it be our parents, ourselves, our brothers and sisters. It didn’t matter. And he didn’t think about it.’
