Officers responding to a call of a person shot in the Riverdale neighborhood Friday night discovered a 43-year-old man fatally wounded outside on the ground, Chicago police said.
About 9:40 p.m., the victim was found in the 13200 block of South Langley Avenue with multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
He was identified as Prince Johnson of the Humboldt Park neighborhood, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
No one was in custody for the fatal shooting, and detectives were investigating.
