Joanna joined Met Eireann in 1995, working as a meteorological officer before being promoted to meteorologist in 2000.
The former Dancing With The Stars contestant confessed that she left the station as she felt it was the “right” move for herself and her family.
Since making her shock departure Joanna has been keeping fans up to date with her post retirement life.
Today she took to her Instagram to give an insight into her filler routine, that gives her “lots more hair”.
Showing off her look from her kitchen, she said: “I feel a little bit disingenuous when I say I don’t dye my hair, the colour is my own.
“This is what red has faded to over the years, because the hair isn’t my own I got fillers in today, that’s when they tape in extra hair into the natural hair tape fillers, so it makes a big difference, lots more hair.”
With a cheeky wink she added: “Like when I was young.”
In the days following her departure from the national broadcaster Joanna told fans she was “running away” with her husband and fellow forecaster Harm Luijkx to the Netherlands, where he is from.
The couple and their three kids, Nicci, Tobias, and Casper, jetted off to Amsterdam where they are currently enjoying a relaxing getaway amidst the noise of Joanna’s news.
The 56-year-old has been sharing exclusive snippets of her trip on Instagram including an adorable throwback picture with her husband.
The lovebirds looked happy-as-ever in the old snap as they posed in front of a stunning canal in Amsterdam on their wedding day over 20 years ago
Joanna was beautiful in a long white satin dress with a matching chiffon scarf, while Harm donned a smart grey suit with a pink tie.
The duo re-created the sweet photo yesterday at the same canal, looking as in love as ever.
JETTING OFF
This time, the couple sported matching blue skinny jeans and winter coats while they embraced each other in a warm hug.
Joanna hadn’t aged a day since the previous snap was captured over two decades ago as she showed off her incredible figure and glowing skin.
The happy family also took a trip to the national art museum and sculpture garden, Kröller-Müller Museum, which is located in the Hoge Veluwe National Park in Otterlo.
Joanna took a gorgeous photo of Harm’s parents sitting in the museum looking at Van Gogh’s famous Café Terrace at Night painting.
Joanna posted a snap of her three kids posing in the museum and said: “These guys.”
