IRELAND AM star Muireann O’Connell encountered a last minute outfit before going live on TV this morning.
The Limerick native, who is renowned for her trendy sense of style, panicked backstage after her original outfit idea did not go to plan.
Muireann usually shares snippets of herself getting ready for the hit breakfast show on social media.
The 41-year-old wrote on Instagram today: “This worked in my head. Another day, another outfit in the head that didn’t work in real life.”
The popular presenter then attached a clip of herself donning an off-grey oversized blazer, a white vest top and a pair of shiny silver metallic trousers.
The TV star immediately made an unsatisfied face at the camera as she examined the outfit in the mirror.
She then waved her hands in the air and exclaimed: “No, no, no.”
Muireann re-appeared wearing a gorgeous pair of blue denim Levi’s jeans and a navy satin blouse from the designer Sinead Keary.
However, the Irish host still seemed unsatisfied with the look as she wrote: “A jean I don’t recommend for my body shape- hate them- but love the colour.”
Despite her distaste for the Levi’s, Muireann looked ten times more comfortable in the new look and smiled from ear-to-ear as she checked it out in front of the camera.

The stylish star opted to add a simple pair of black stiletto heels and her usual gold chain necklace.
She also added a variety of chunky gold bangles to her wrist and a small set of diamond earrings.
In the end, Muireann’s fans were obsessed with her final look as they ran to the comment section to share their love.
