David Beckham has admitted that while he doesn’t fear getting older there is one thing that he is struggling to come to terms with.
The footballer turns 50 in May and while many might find reaching that particular milestone disconcerting, David insists that he’s not bothered.
He revealed that he gets asked about it regularly but is able to count his blessings that he’s in good shape and that his family is healthy.

What is worrying him is all of his children leaving home and he confessed that he is grappling with empty nester syndrome.
All three of his sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz have all left the homestead, leaving just his daughter Harper with mum and dad.
Harper turns 14 in July so David and Victoria have a few years before their house is completely cleared out but he’s already finding it tough going.

Chatting to Men’s Health he admitted that he’d give anything to turn back time.
‘We’re not quite there yet but it’s actually painful. We’ve gone from having four in the house to one.
‘What I would give to have that back and be able to walk in, moaning to them about it [wet towels on bedroom floors].’

The one bright side to his sons moving out is that they now hang out with him as one of the boys.
‘My boys are pretty good. They’ll always ask me to the pub when they go with their mates.’
