The climate change industrial complex is a trillion-dollar industry. For green net-zero advocates like PM Mark Carney, he has to keep up the manufactured climate change crisis narrative. Canada is committing economic suicide over a theory that has its end-of-the-world apocalypse so far down the road by the time it comes to pass everyone who pushed this nonsense will be dead and historians and scholars will look back at the early 21st century and write of a global hysteria that impoverished people and made other people very wealthy, yet did nothing for the environment.

Freeland cashing in
The good news is that Chrystia Freeland is finally stepping down from Parliament. The bad news is that we’ll still be paying her an outrageous salary as a Member of Parliament and a special representative for the reconstruction of Ukraine, whatever that means.

Modular thinking
I see that PM Mark Carney is throwing money at modular housing and picking a company in Edmonton to get the windfall. In Calgary we have ATCO, which has a proven record in modular construction. So we are going to ship housing components down the QE2 and all over Canada? A decentralized plan is more fair and makes more sense.

Disturbing events
I find the events of the last two weeks deeply disturbing. The political left celebrating the assassination, the murder of a man, son and father for his political views. Are you teaching your children that murder is OK as long as it is someone who shares views that differ from yours? Mr. Trump was not elected for his diplomacy skills, but to help America become a world leader again. I find myself wishing Eastern Canada would elect a leader that would put Canada first.

Kirk strived to sow hate
It is very telling that the defenders of Charlie Kirk are not defending what he actually says, but rather his right to say it. People have lost their jobs just for directly quoting Kirk, and Kirk’s most prominent opinions are not appropriate to publish in a newspaper. Kirk strived to sow hate and division, to weaponize a bad-faith interpretation of free speech to hurt people. Any sympathy towards Charlie Kirk is better directed towards the millions of victims of his vile hate movement.

(Free speech is worth defending.)
