WHITE SETTLEMENT, Texas — A man was arrested and charged with crashing into a North Texas apartment complex Monday evening, injuring two people, police say.
According to White Settlement Police Chief Christopher Cook, at about 5:11 p.m. Monday, a man backed into a building at the Foxfire Lane Apartments. That wreck caused major structural damage and knocked out power to the building, Cook said.
Cook said a woman, who was asleep on a couch in her living room, was injured during the collision and taken to a local hospital with head trauma. She is expected to survive.

After backing into that building, the man sped forward into another apartment in the same block, injuring a man in his living room, Cook said. That man was treated on the scene.
According to Cook, responding officers noticed the suspect was unconscious and saw drug paraphernalia in his car. They then administered Narcan to the suspect, Cook said.
The suspect was arrested and charged with intoxication assault for injuring the woman, Cook said. Police said they are awaiting his release from a local hospital.
