A man has died after a crash in Co Down.
Police have confirmed that a man, who was a passenger in the car, died following a single-vehicle crash in the Hilltown area in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The PSNI received a report at around 2am that a grey Volkswagen Golf had crashed on the Kilkeel Road.
A front-seat passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, an 18-year-old man, was arrested and remains in custody.
The Kilkeel Road remains closed as investigations continue.
